Back to school push launched

The AOP, as part of the Optical Confederation, is continuing to highlight the importance of children's eye health and is running a 'Back to School' campaign over the summer. "The campaign date has tried to reach parents via schools and teachers and this year we aim to build on this to ensure that the message is still getting across," said a spokeswoman for the AOP.

"The promotion is a perfect opportunity for optometrists seeking to develop and build on existing relationships with families in their local community. Giving a school talk is also a great way to promote children's eye care and raise awareness of your practice locally."

The Association will be available for support and advice and information packs will shortly be sent out to all its members.
